Artist Statement:
The reason I painted the flower is because the flower’s life inspires me every time I think of it. It goes through a lot of struggles through its growth like dirt, storms and other things but at the end of the day it blooms in its best way. It brings joy to those who see it.
It’s like our life, we go through a lot in our lives during our growth, just like the flower, the end of our struggle is beautiful. And the reason the flower was painted in blue is because the color blue is a calm color and it represents inspiration.
